Several select CITY Wallets, including these Sara Varon-designed wallets, are now available in Ukrainian Village’s art gallery & gift shop, Paperish Mess.
Sara Varon & I worked on these wallets from October to November 2013. Â She is a children’s book illustrator and printmaker based in Brooklyn, New York, but maintains strong ties to Chicago.
Her many books include Chicken & Cat, Odd Duck, Bake Sale, Robot Dreams, The Present, and Sweaterweather. Â Most of these books can be found in Chicago Public Libraries. Â If your local library is missing any of her books, please have your libraries order them, or you can order them yourself for your own reading pleasure!
